Sisters, Secrets, and Second Chances

Twins Alexa and Kyla may seem like opposites, but their bond is unbreakable—until a mysterious gift threatens to unravel everything. Will they find their way back to each other, or is their bond broken for good?

Struggling to cope with life-changing news, Kyla makes a serious mistake that puts her job on the line. She's stunned when her hot, grumpy boss reveals a softer side, sparking an unexpected emotional journey.

Meanwhile, Alexa longs to connect with her swoony neighbor dentist but always seems to meet him at her worst moments. When he finally asks her out, she’s over the moon and wishes she could share the news with Kyla—if only they still confided in each other like they used to.

As excitement builds for the Christmas market builds, their mother Jennie is ready for anything—until the unexpected happens.
This heartwarming family saga of sisterhood, secrets, and redemption explores the importance of family and the healing power of love. If you like clean, romantic women’s fiction in the style of Fiona Baker, Rachel Hanna, and Pamela Kelley, this book is for you.
A widowed soulmate. A handsome newcomer. One summer to reclaim her life.
With her husband’s tragic passing, the fate of their cherished ancestral farm falls squarely on Jennie Mitchell’s shoulders.
With no in-demand workplace skills, she grapples with the news of her husband’s secret debt and the daunting task of managing everything on her own.
She throws herself into opening a bed-and-breakfast, determined to preserve the family legacy and stay close to her three children. But the burden of additional responsibilities overwhelms her.
Worse, everything that could go wrong, does.
Amidst the chaos, a charismatic paragliding instructor rents space on Jennie's land. As they embark on a shared second-chance romance, Jennie remains tethered to memories of her late husband, Derrick.
With Jennie lost in a whirlwind of work, Clay's patience wears thin, as he yearns for a commitment.
In a heart-wrenching revelation, Jennie finally acknowledges her deepest desires. But will she grasp the love she so desperately craves before it slips away?
Innocence dies in a world where decency is not as common as you'd think
If you like strong women protagonists, workplace drama, and suspense, you’ll love this heart-wrenching novel by Maren Hill.

Falling in love is the last thing on Verity’s mind.
Unveiling crime and preventing another murder at her Vancouver workplace exhausted her.
And while she doesn’t expect to meet the love of her life while escaping to an island in the Bahamas, there he is…with women falling all over him.
Treachery takes on a whole new meaning when Rylan's ex-girlfriend throws Verity in harm's way.
She learns fast that danger lurks on the edge of this island paradise, where fortunes are built on the illicit drug trade. And that hurricane about to make landfall? Verity ignores all the warning signs.
Can Rylan prove to Verity that she is his one true love, or will a catastrophic hurricane destroy their chance to be together forever?

You will fall in love with the innocence of Nicole as she moves from small-town Ontario to the sins of big-city Vancouver. Can’t wait to read The Troublemakers. Want more! Highly recommend"

The author sets the scene beautifully, pulling you through time, immersing you in small-town gossip, young love, and the landscape of Vancouver, and introducing you to a new world of opportunities (and dangers) through the eyes of Nicole."

My 6 year old daughter loves to learn about unusual creatures - Octonauts is her favorite tv show - so I thought this book would be a hit. It was! She loved it so much that I bought the paper version as well. Now she doesn’t shriek when we see slugs on our walks!

...I truly had no idea what a banana slug was. This highly educational tale about the habits of gastropods is very well written for readers of all ages and will take pride of place on the top shelf of my own home library and I now feel compelled to see if Slimy Slick resides anywhere near my home. Readers aged 10 to 100 will marvel at the wonderful array of facts about this slimy critter and my hat's off to both J. D. Monk and Bruce Giannini for bringing his existence into my life's knowledge of other beings which live on this beautiful blue and green planet of ours.
Great read for young kids and their parents together!
